Erick Osorio is the Owner and Principal of Structel Consulting Inc., a leading firm in the structural engineering and project management industry. With a robust 13 years of experience, Erick has built a formidable career from entry-level roles to senior management positions, which inspired him to establish his own consultancy. A Civil Engineering graduate from Ryerson University, Erick's expertise spans structural and civil design and building science, serving diverse sectors including institutional, telecommunications, commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
At Structel, Erick serves as the Sr. Structural Lead, where his responsibilities include operating the firm, overseeing project management, ensuring quality assurance, and advancing structural engineering excellence. His ability to effectively manage and mentor design staff enables him to successfully execute both small and large-scale projects. Before founding Structel, Erick was a key contributor to major construction projects valued at over $100 million while working at various consulting and construction engineering firms.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Erick cherishes spending time with his family, enjoys working on home projects, and has a passion for fishing and sports, both playing and watching. His dedication to his field and personal interests reflect his commitment to a balanced and fulfilling life.
